Dill Pickles
5 c water
1 c white vinegar
1/2 c sugar
3 cloves garlic, smashed and peeled
6 sprigs baby dill, or 1 dill flower
1 T brown mustard seeds
1" chopped cayenne pepper
3 small cucumbers, cut into spears
Boil first 4 ingredients, let cool. Put other ingredients in a medium jar, pour liquid over. Refrigerate, ready in 5 days.
